FILMBYCREATIVES is an ongoing collaborative documentary project that creates an archive of artists through self-representation. Each participant is given a disposable film camera and invited to document the people, places, routines and fleeting moments that shape their creative practice. Rather than being photographed, artists become the authors of their own stories, offering an intimate perspective on the experiences that exist beyond the finished work.

Together, these photographs form an evolving archive and collective portrait of artistic life, celebrating the communities and creative processes that exist behind finished works.
